Our Manchester-based client, a leading IT company, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Commercial Counsel to join their dynamic in-house legal team. As a Senior Commercial Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in shaping their commercial strategy and mitigating legal risks. To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of four years of post-qualification experience in commercial law, preferably gained within an in-house legal team at a technology company. You will have a strong understanding of commercial law principles, including contract law, intellectual property law, and data privacy law. You will possess excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills, with a keen eye for detail and a pragmatic approach. You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide practical legal advice. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
