We are innovative! That's why we need people like you to help us. People who enjoy finding new ways to do things. The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Delivery Manager to join us, as we embark on the AMP8 five-year investment cycle with Anglian Water. This is a unique chance to drive the commercial success of multiple high-impact projects, including one of the UK's largest main-laying programmes, spanning 1.4 million meters. We're looking for a visionary leader ready to challenge the status quo, rebuild from the ground up, and assemble a dynamic new team with fresh perspectives. If you're passionate about innovation and eager to make a significant impact, we want to hear from you! NB - we are able to offer agile working for this position - with around 2 days per week from home. Here are some of the activities you will be involved with: Drive Commercial Strategy : Craft and execute a commercial strategy that aligns seamlessly with Anglian Water's ambitious goals. Ensure Financial Integrity : Uphold the highest standards of commercial integrity and financial assurance across all projects. Deliver Insightful Reports : Provide clear, timely, and insightful reports on contracts and commercial status to keep all stakeholders informed. Ensure Legal Compliance : Navigate and adhere to Anglian Water and alliance governance to ensure full legal compliance. Champion Dispute Resolution : Actively support and promote effective dispute resolution and avoidance strategies. Optimise Processes : Seek out and implement best practices and process efficiencies in commercial management. Mitigate Risks : Identify and proactively mitigate financial and commercial risks to safeguard project success. Build Strong Relationships : Forge and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive collaboration and success. Foster a Culture of Challenge : Encourage a culture that embraces commercial challenges to enhance efficiency and performance. We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate: We are looking for someone who is not only a skilled manager but also an inspiring leader who can motivate and guide their team to achieve exceptional results. Proven experience of successfully managing and leading a high performing commercial team is essential. Extensive knowledge of NEC3 contracts is required. A degree in construction or commercial/financial management and/or a professional qualification, such as RICS, CIOB, or ICE is preferred. Additionally, being a skilled communicator and negotiator is crucial, as this role involves working with numerous stakeholders within the alliance. A full UK driving licence is also required. Our Company Every day we work smarter, greener and use our imaginations. Our purpose at Clancy is simple - we make life better for everyone's growing families. We play a vital role in providing fresh drinking water and power to millions of homes and businesses and so much more. We are one of the biggest family owned construction businesses in the UK and we care about our people, our clients and the environment. What Next You apply, and we respond within two weeks (we know how annoying it is not to hear anything back)! If you don't receive feedback within that timescale, please don't be afraid to chase us - one of our values is to do what we say we will do! Benefits In addition to helping you reach your career goals, a competitive salary, pension - 7% company contribution, healthcare and holiday allowance starting at 24 days per annum, we also offer perks including Clancy Xtras, our employee benefits programme with discounts for numerous well-known retailers such as Tesco, Sainsbury's, Currys PC World and Vue Cinemas, cycle to work scheme as well as an Employee Assistance Programme.
