Job Description This role manages a portfolio of commercial project activities across Heathrow, predominantly Property, Retail and Media based. It provides assurance on compliance, ensuring the engagement of the commercial functions, internal stakeholders and business partners to manage 3rd party works against the business plan. As part of the team, this role will contribute to ensure Commercial Projects continue to unlock world class solutions through collaborative delivery, whilst ensuring all projects are safe, secure, technically compliant and invisible to the passenger. Responsibilities Helping and supporting business partners in managing their project teams through the commercial project processes. This will include:

Concept briefings and reviews ensuring business partner designs are world class and in line with Heathrow Design guidelines. Detail Design Approvals, ensuring compliance with Heathrow commercial projects and approvals processes, gaining sign-off from all internal stakeholders and external statutory bodies prior to commencing on site. Onsite, commissioning and handover, ensuring all commercial construction sites are safe, secure and invisible to the passenger, ensuring sign-off from all relevant stakeholders and obtaining completion certificates from Building Control prior to opening.

Ensuring the commercial project activities are in line with the commercial development brief requirements. Providing support and advice on design and technical issues to the commercial functions. Following the Commercial Project delivery and approvals processes, reporting status against programme, issue management and capture learning for suggestions of continuous improvement. Responsibility for overseeing the commissioning and handover process for commercial units ensuring relevant permits are in place. From time to time this will involve out of hours work. Participating in projects and working groups and to carry out other duties that may be outside the standard remit for the purpose of personal development. Responsibility for personal compliance with Company Health and safety Policies, ensuring safe working practices to minimise risk to self, work colleagues, customers and staff is minimised. Complying with all legal and statutory obligations applicable to this role. Qualifications Be educated to a degree level or equivalent experience. Have minimum of one years' experience of airport project delivery or industry comparative experience. Excellent communications skills (written, oral & presentations) to enable presentations to 3rd parties commercial and project teams, site operatives & internal stakeholders. A working knowledge / experience of Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Building and Civil services, Heathrow Design, Technical and Safety Standards and project management. Experience in project delivery, including the design and construction of commercial facilities, contractual procedures & health and safety.
