Commercial Distribution Manager

who will be responsible for leading the development and growth of the Adaptix 3D X-ray portfolio in the UK and Europe. You will manage and lead the revenue growth from distribution partners in both veterinary and human health. The Company Medical imaging helps patients by enabling early and accurate diagnosis. However, 2D X-rays can be inconclusive as they give a fundamentally limited view of our 3D bodies. 3D images are possible with CT scanners but these are much more expensive, give a high dose of radiation and moving a critically ill patient to a scanner can be labour-intensive and risky. At Adaptix we are helping make 3D imaging more accessible to the people who need it by producing mobile flat-panel X-ray systems that can be brought to patients giving low-cost, low-dose imaging.

Key Responsibilities

Main Duties and responsibilities: Delivering the annual sales and GP budget. Increasing market share across the full portfolio, through the management of existing distributors and finding new distributors in the region, agreeing business plans, contracts and onboarding. Managing existing distributors against sales and budget plans, holding distributors to account on the financial and revenue commitments made. Tracking and reporting on the new and existing evaluation and tenders in the region both internally via reporting and externally by engaging with the distributors. Forecasting and reporting on new business wins against budget requirements. Ensuring contract compliance across all regions. Identifying and attending key regional events for the promotion and lead generation of products. Regularly visiting distributors, conducting commercial reviews and facilitating product training with their sales teams. Presenting to the SMT on the current market performance and upcoming opportunities. Working with the clinical team to identify and implement training requirements across the portfolio on a quarterly basis.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Skills: Ability to proactively monitor current markets, analysing sales and tender gaps. Commercial acumen and contract management. Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships and expectations. Strong IT and CRM skills, including Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team. Great organisational, problem solving and time-management skills. Experience: Proven track record of success in international Medical Devices sales (essential) and veterinary sales (desirable) via a distributor model. Distributor management, including experience dealing with medical devices, imaging experience desired but not essential.
