Commercial Engineer focuses on working with external structural engineering consultants to ensure accuracy.

What the role involves

• Working with external structural engineering consultants to ensure accuracy.
• Be involved in the companies R&D process, responsible for helping form new initiatives.

Skills and requirements

• Assisting the directors, associates and senior staff with other tasks as required.
• At least 3 years’ experience working with a Façade Engineering role.
• Must have a bachelor degree qualified and ideally working towards Chartered membership of the Institution of Structural Engineers (although not essential).
• Good practical and technical structural engineering knowledge and experience.

Additional role context

• Completing engineering analysis and structural engineering calculations across a wide range of façade system and elements.
• Supporting a variety of internal projects, producing sketches, reports and specifications, coordinated with a range of stakeholders.
• Carrying through calculations using TEDDS for various systems.
