Commercial Estimator
THE COMPANY Our client is a well-established manufacturer of wooden products for the building industry. Founded over a century ago, they are the acknowledged market leaders in timber doors and windows, relied upon throughout the industry by main contractors, builders, architects, and self-builders.
THE ROLE Due to internal promotion, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Estimator to join their team. The role focuses on large-scale commercial projects, including some of the most prestigious projects in the UK. The Commercial Estimator will be preparing estimates, tender, and contract documents in conjunction with client requirements. Responsibilities include: Creating quotations Liaising directly with customers including main contractors, builders, architects, and self-builders Reading and interpreting tender documentation, including detailed specification documents, contracts, and architect's drawings Working closely with the external sales team Providing excellent customer service at all points of the customer journey
THE CANDIDATE Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Commercial Estimator possessing the ambition to forge a career within a successful expanding construction company. You will possess the following skills: Experience as an estimator, ideally within a similar sector Good IT skillset Ability to manage multiple projects Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Background of using technical/bespoke IT systems and CRM
SALARY:
c. £30,000 - £35,000 Depending on Experience + Pension
LOCATION:
This role is commutable from Boston, Donington, Sleaford, Pinchbeck, Bourne, Rippingale, Holbeach, Grantham.
