What you'll do As a Decision Support Analyst in the Commercial Finance team, your primary responsibility will be to work alongside the Finance Business Partner, providing analysis and financial information to support the product and cost teams. This includes: Conducting ledger forensic analysis to ensure accuracy of financial information. Reviewing monthly P&L statements. Preparing NPV data. Analysing costs and updating Management Committee papers. Actively participating in product and cost meetings and acting as a deputy for the Finance Manager when needed. Coordinating and driving the budgeting and forecasting process for designated products. Analysing trends and other management information to identify key issues and opportunities. Completing financial modeling and ensuring the accuracy of outputs. Challenging assumptions, conducting scenario planning, and supporting regulatory forecasting. Providing financial analysis and commercial support, and assisting with ad hoc requests from your manager and other areas of the Finance team. Strong PC skills, including MS Excel, and the ability to think logically, communicate effectively, manage deadlines, and work collaboratively in a customer-focused team are essential for success in this role. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in management accounting, financial modeling, and commercial experience. Your keen attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills enable you to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, both financial and non-financial, and provide valuable insights to support strategic and pricing decisions.
