Role Overview: As a Part Qualified Commercial Finance Analyst, you will support the financial planning and analysis functions within the organisation. You will work closely with various departments to provide insights that drive decision-making and enhance profitability. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Analyse financial performance and identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support commercial decision-making. Prepare and present financial models and business cases for new initiatives. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic planning. Support the monthly close process, including reconciliations and reporting. Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as needed. Qualifications:
Part qualified (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with a strong desire to complete professional qualifications. Relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a commercial environment. Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A resilient attitude to making improvements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus. This role is managed by Walters People entity which is a temporary recruitment agency.
