Join Our Team as a Commercial Finance Analyst!
Are you a part or newly qualified accountant who is proactive and likes to be hands on? We are looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team on a
12 month fixed term contract
and act as a key finance contact for our Commercial Team, driving their performance and supporting decision-making. About the role This hybrid role is based at our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire, and reports to the Commercial Finance Manager. You’ll be required to work in the office two days per week. Key Responsibilities will include: Preparing and interpreting weekly trading sales, margin and KPI reports and identifying key performance drivers and action plans. Developing and maintaining commercial models, and providing insights on performance and trends. Building and maintaining close working relationships with key stakeholders, including Buyers and Merchandisers. Collaborating with the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely period-end sales and margin reporting. Contributing to monthly reporting and analysis, including Commercial Business Review and Board Packs. Conducting deep-dive analysis on new ranges or initiatives and developing action plans for underperforming areas. Supporting budget, forecast, risk and opportunity preparation. Assisting with audit queries related to sales, margin and stock. About you Part or newly qualified accountant (CIMA or equivalent). Strong Excel skills (including Sumifs, pivot tables and graphs). High attention to detail. Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced commercial environment. Strong team player with the ability to build relationships with other teams. Naturally inquisitive with a desire to learn and share knowledge. Previous experience in a Commercial Finance role within Retail is desirable. What we Offer Be part of a supportive and dynamic team.
