Job Description
A Commercial Finance Analyst will:
Annual Business Plan (ABP) & Quarterly Forecasts (QF)
Collaborate with commercial teams. Report on projected customer/channel gross margins. Analyse projected customer/channel gross margins. Submit annual business plans using Kantar Xtel software. Submit quarterly business plans using Kantar Xtel software.
Decision Support
Provide business decision support. Communicate customer & product profitability information. Conduct ad-hoc analysis. Provide relevant analysis to support business decisions.
Period & Quarterly Close
Generate insights based on customer-level gross margin. Conduct variance analysis for the business unit. Work with Sales teams to understand drivers of customer performance. Work with Commercial teams to understand drivers of customer performance. Influence drivers of customer performance.
The Successful Applicant A Commercial Finance Analyst will have: Fluent in English. 1-3 years in a management accounting position. FMCG exposure with extensive experience working with Commercial teams. Advanced Excel with strong modelling and analysis skills. University Degree in business management or finance (preferred). Studying towards a finance qualification. Organised. Able to meet deadlines. Experience of Return on Investment modelling. Tenacity and common sense.
