Job Description

As Commercial Finance Manager UK, you will lead the commercial finance team and collaborate closely with the Sales function to deliver the revenue and GP strategy for the UK business covering a 0-3 year horizon. You will be responsible for ensuring effective management of the business from a commercial financial and controlling perspective, based on the company’s overall business strategy. You will lead a team of 6 to help ensure that business decisions are grounded in sound financial analysis and will support strategic decision-making and commercial activity which adds value. In this role, you will lead the deployment of RGM strategy to manage volume, pricing, and PNOC through management of promotions and pricing within customers, whilst driving the month-end closing process with the Finance team to ensure revenue and GP reporting is timely, accurate, and complete. You will report to the Finance Director UK&I and provide support, guidance, and meaningful insight to the leadership team and business partner the Sales Director and Account Controllers on commercial finance matters, enabling them to make informed decisions and deliver ongoing strong business growth. To achieve this, you will also work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and broader finance functions to deliver against business objectives. The key responsibilities of the Commercial finance lead are: Delivery of approx. £370m Sales plan; GP; GP% targets. Deliver analysis and reporting that drives business decisions. Shape the development and execution of net revenue realization through customer pricing and Trade Terms. Ensure a high level of control compliance across Revenue, Trade Spend, and Pricing. Oversee the planning, communication, and tracking of the business plan and LE’s with a high level of forecast accuracy – covering Vol to GP. Approve promotional activity within agreed authorization levels to deliver sales KPIs for the category whilst delivering Customers’ business objectives. Qualifications

Education & Experience: Qualified accountant / Degree in Finance 10 years of FMCG/Commercial/Operations Finance experience. Ability to build strong rapport with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making. A passion for numbers and data. Genuine enjoyment in building financial control systems that maximize profitability. Advanced Excel skills. Additional Information
