The Commercial Finance Manager is a pivotal position, supporting the wider commercial finance team. This role leads the pricing strategy, enabling the business to achieve volume and margin growth. It provides critical financial insights and fosters collaboration across sales, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure informed, data-driven decisions are made. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate all pricing activities, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives. Collaborate with key account leads to proactively support customer-specific pricing initiatives. Work with finance leadership to design and implement the pricing strategy. Oversee daily pricing activities with the Finance Analyst, ensuring a consistent and strategic approach to support growth. Develop and utilize comprehensive reporting tools to provide actionable insights into pricing trends, customer behaviour, and market dynamics. Maintain and manage the pricing tracker to ensure full transparency of price changes and anticipated revenue impacts. Key Requirements: A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, CIMA, or ACCA, or equivalent with 4–5 years of demonstrable commercial experience. Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data. Strong understanding of financial management principles and commercial awareness. Highly analytical and detail-oriented with a strategic mindset. Strong communication skills, able to influence and challenge stakeholders effectively.
