Our client, a leading global professional services firm, is seeking a Commercial Finance Lead to collaborate closely with business leaders and drive organizational growth through effective business partnering. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role within an established and integral team. Key Responsibilities: Engage with key stakeholders across the business, providing insights on budgets, productivity, and resource expenditure. Work closely with leadership and management teams to assist in gaining a thorough understanding of the business. Translate financial data, including KPIs and monthly management accounts, into actionable insights by collaborating with leadership and management. Your role will involve identifying underlying trends and exceptions, analyzing their root causes, and assessing the broader impact these factors may have on future business performance. Drive operational performance by fostering a commercial mindset, understanding the key business drivers, and their impact on overall performance and profitability. Oversee and manage budgets, helping departments understand their spending and making strategic recommendations to optimize financial performance. As a Commercial Finance Lead, you'll coach and mentor a junior team. This role is part of our strategic succession planning, reporting directly to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, who in turn reports to a Partner. Gain a deep understanding of the firm's culture and strategy, and how change is implemented, while upholding and embodying the firm's core values. The successful candidate should be ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or equivalent. Previous experience working in a consulting or professional services business in a similar role would be ideal.
