Commercial Gas Engineer - Static Site
Location: Watford
Salary: £49k - No call out, no standby, 40 hour week. Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm, static site.
Responsibilities: Providing first line reactive response to critical Heating and Hot water plant, including gas pipework. Performing PPM and reactive repairs, working alone or within a small team as required. Making safe isolations to adhere to legislation. Carrying out gas testing and purging in accordance with IGE regulations and British standards. Repairing or replacing pipe-work, valves, strainers, actuators, humidifiers, fan decks, integral controls or equivalent.
Minimum Requirements: Current ACS certification, covering core safety, indirect fired appliances and pipework (commercial) or for a domestic role core safety and boilers. City and Guilds or equivalent in Plumbing and Heating. Sound fault finding skills on all forms of Gas Appliances and systems. Experience in a similar role, working with Gas plant. DBS Ideal.
