We are seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer to join our client's team in the Berkshire area. There is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer looking to progress into a management role, overseeing the work of engineers and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
Responsibilities of Commercial Gas Engineer
Manage and coordinate a team of engineers, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of gas systems. Act as the primary point of contact for all gas-related matters, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. Perform regular inspections and audits of gas installations to ensure compliance and safety. Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation for all gas systems in line with health and safety guidelines. Collaborate with other departments and contractors to maintain seamless operation on-sites. Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing training and development opportunities. Conduct risk assessments and develop action plans to mitigate potential hazards. Essential Qualifications/Skills for Commercial Gas Engineer
Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer, with a strong understanding of gas systems. Familiarity with relevant gas safety standards and regulations. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks. Must be eligible for security vetting, which will be conducted prior to employment. Gas Safe registered.
