Commercial Gas Engineer

to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with NHS hospitals, food production manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, and other vital organizations. About the Role: As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will provide on-site reactive and planned maintenance, fault-finding, diagnosis, repair, installation, servicing, and commissioning of industrial and commercial burner equipment. The role offers structured salary progression based on your development and training. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair faults in industrial and commercial burner equipment. Perform installation, servicing, and commissioning tasks. Provide high-quality reactive and planned maintenance. Adhere to site permits and company/customer Health and Safety standards. Participate in the emergency call-out rota once training is complete. Salary Progression: Starting salary:

46,381 during trial period. Post-trial salary:

50,107 while shadowing and learning. Fully trained salary:

55,676 upon completing training and joining the on-call rota. Skills and Experience Required: Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills. Proven engineering background with several years of experience. Full, clean UK driving licence. Ability to work under pressure, independently, or as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills. Desirable Experience: Current Gas Safe registration (COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, and CORT1). Experience in a similar service role. Knowledge of burners or steam systems. Electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications. Working Hours and Benefits: Hours:

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Overtime:

Paid at 37.68 per hour for additional hours. Holidays:

28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with an additional day off for your birthday. Company vehicle and fuel card provided. Health care benefits after 6 months of employment.
