Commercial Gas Engineer

to join our team carrying out servicing, repairs and installations on a wide range of systems and appliances. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our clients receive the highest quality of service whilst also maintaining strict safety and compliance standards. Responsibilities Carry out diagnostics, fault-finding, repairs and installations on gas systems and appliances Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on gas systems and appliances. Conduct routine safety checks, gas leak detection, preventative maintenance, and ensure full compliance with gas safety regulations. Light commercial installations to replace faulty parts e.g., pumps, water heaters, radiators Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure project efficiency. Provide technical expertise and advice to clients on energy efficiency and system optimization. Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all work completed. Qualifications ACS CODNCO1, ICPN1, CIGA1 Relevant qualifications in gas engineering (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ). Strong understanding of heating system controls and diagnostics. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly. Summary As a Commercial Gas Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of commercial gas systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and high-quality customer service. On occasion, the candidate will be required to work remotely, i.e., Newcastle; overnight stay and food allowance will be provided if required. What We Offer Competitive salary:
