Commercial Gas Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas/Heating Engineer to join our highly regarded Maintenance team in Dartford. Rydon is responsible for the ongoing responsive/reactive maintenance services for a number of busy hospital/healthcare sites to ensure the environment is running to the standards expected by our client and service users. Rydon Maintenance provides first-class planned, responsive, lifecycle and cyclical repairs services within the social housing, healthcare and education sectors. Job Purpose The role is varied and will see the successful candidate undertake both responsive/reactive repairs, as well as planned maintenance, to ensure that the hospital sites we maintain are able to provide quality care to its service users. As part of this varied role, you will work as part of a small team of mobile engineers servicing and maintaining commercial boiler plant, attending breakdowns and PPM. You will be fault-finding on commercial boilers and heating systems, servicing gas heating systems, repairing gas networks, maintaining and repairing gas-fired water heaters, and working to ensure that we meet statutory compliance within our client sites. Normal working hours are 8am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. You will also have the opportunity to participate in an on-call rota system (which offers the opportunity to increase your earnings and be involved in additional urgent repairs). Experience Required A strong maintenance background as a commercial heating/gas maintenance engineer.
