Commercial Gas Engineer £42,000 - £45,000 + Door to Door + Van Scotland Winner Recruitment are currently working with a Service provider who focuses on hard services within the Facilities management sector across commercial and industrial sectors. They are looking to recruit a Commercial Gas Engineer who will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of gas appliances and systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and demonstrate proficiency in using various tools and equipment in different working sectors. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality, ensuring that all work complies with relevant regulations and standards. Duties: Install, maintain, and repair all types of gas heating and plumbing systems in commercial settings. Conduct regular inspections to ensure the safe operation of gas systems. Diagnose faults in gas appliances and carry out necessary repairs. Assemble components as needed for various projects. Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time to exceed customer expectations. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete installations efficiently. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used. Always adhere to health and safety regulations. Work away during Mon-Thursday when required. Candidate: Relevant qualifications e.g. COCN1, MET1, CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, HTR1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, UVHW. Hold either OFTEC or LPG qualification (Having both would be advantageous). Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and fault find issues effectively. Good general experience in working in occupied premises. Clear communicator both orally and in writing. A customer-focused approach.
