We're looking for a Senior Commercial Insurance Manager to join us in London. The purpose of this role is to lead all aspects of the commercial insurance business within Liberty Global, including transitioning it from being an internal support function to one that is a standalone business unit that generates income through the deployment of expertise and knowledge to companies both inside and outside of the organisation. What will you be doing?

Leading and evolving all elements of the existing commercial insurance programs. Creating a commercial growth insurance strategy to support a growing insurance team. Handling all third-party broker and underwriter relationships. Owning the procurement of all commercial insurance services. Leading insurance business reviews with LG subsidiaries, brokers, and insurers. Leading and coordinating all elements of the commercial insurance renewal process. Supporting all LG M&A activity relating to commercial insurance matters. Driving business change to underpin the future commercial insurance strategy. Leading all commercial insurance data modeling to drive effective decision-making. Acting as the primary point of contact for commercial insurance across the LG group. We tend to look for people with the following skills and abilities:

Essential:

Strong experience in commercial insurance with a market-leading insurer or broker. Significant experience in commercial insurance products e.g., Property, Motor, EL. Demonstrable experience of underwriting principles and insurance pricing. Experience in risk modeling and risk selection analysis. Experience in commercial discussions and contractual management. Awareness of insurance captive management and governance. Experience in stakeholder and leadership management. Experience of financial and budgetary management. Strong experience in data modeling, critical thinking management, and execution. Exceptional interpersonal skills to influence business change. Proven experience in Excel and PowerPoint. Desirable:

Experience of management consultancy. Experience of working within a matrix-based multi-business. Experience of AI and the use of data to develop insurance business lines. What's in it for you?
