Milton Keynes (Hybrid) This is a 12 month
fixed-term contract

A leading financial services provider is seeking a skilled Commercial Lawyer to support its legal operations and strategic objectives. The role involves delivering expert legal advice across the organisation, managing legal workflows, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations, reporting directly to the General Counsel. Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and support for business operations, projects, and strategic initiatives. Draft, review, and manage commercial contracts and precedent documentation. Advise on the interpretation of regulations affecting financial services. Collaborate with Compliance and Risk teams to ensure alignment and mitigate risks. Update stakeholders on changes in legislation and regulatory requirements. Key Skills & Experience:
Qualified solicitor or barrister
with extensive commercial contract experience, within
financial services
or private practice. In-depth understanding of FCA Handbook (SYSC module) and Consumer Credit Act (CCA). Proven ability to manage complex legal issues and influence stakeholders effectively. Strong drafting, negotiating, and organisational skills.
