London, Manchester, Darlington, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bristol, Glasgow, Leeds, Salford In this role, you will support the SIG commercial business areas as the G7 Commercial Lead and assigned business partner within the team. You will be required to lead the commercial support for specific procurements within the assigned portfolio. Along with managing defined procurements, you will also oversee additional commercial/procurement activity with our partner organisations and those managed by the department’s procurement support partners/shared services, UKSBS. The role is responsible for engaging and developing customer requirements, ensuring the procurement activity is undertaken compliantly and efficiently, and contributing to the function’s savings targets, managing risk appropriately, and ensuring the required systems and platforms are maintained and up to date. Line management responsibility may also be part of the role depending on which role is assigned. The SIG Commercial and Grants team provide a matrix working environment so that support from the wider team is provided. Locations:
