We are looking for a results-driven and tenacious individual with a passion for leadership and Sales to promote within or join our Thought Leadership team as Commercial Lead. Main Duties and Responsibilities: As a Team Lead at Chambers and Partners, you will be a member of the company’s management team and be responsible for managing part of the Thought Leadership business. This role is a significant opportunity for the right candidate to really make their mark. You will be responsible for driving best practices, increasing sales revenue, and holding accountability for all revenue and targets while leading a team of driven sales individuals. You will carry a sales quota that will combine your own personal one and your direct reports’ quotas. The sales territory will likely be made up of a combination of Global Practice Guides (with an emphasis on new business & new guides) and Expert Focus (with an emphasis on retention/upsell). As we evolve our Thought Leadership offering and develop our platforms, additional products and territories may be added to the responsibility. Manage a sales territory and associated quota, including renewals and new business/upsell. Provide functional management and leadership to members of your team. Produce and ensure performance reporting is timely, accurate, and appropriate. Present overall performance status and exceptions to key internal stakeholders. Provide leadership and support to your team. Carry out recruitment and growth of your team. Provide continuous assistance, support, and guidance on all commercial issues to your team members to ensure they attain maximum potential. Develop and expand your own commercial knowledge and that of your team. Create and develop commercial programs in order to drive success and growth. Identify improvements to commercial processes. Manage the ongoing training of the sales team. Set individual sales targets and goals that are aligned to those of the company. Skills and Qualifications: Experience in sales and marketing, including examples as a coach/leader. Experience in liaising directly with clients and building relationships. Experience in or associated with the legal profession. Experience in formally or informally managing and developing teams.
