Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Commercial Litigation Associate to join their well-regarded team. Role Overview: As a Commercial Litigation Associate, you will play a key role in advising a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, businesses, and multinational corporations, on a wide range of commercial disputes. You will work on high-profile cases in areas such as breach of contract, shareholder disputes, professional negligence, and insolvency, handling both contentious and non-contentious matters. Key Responsibilities: Manage a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters, ensuring timely and effective delivery of client services. Provide expert legal advice to clients on a wide range of commercial disputes. Draft pleadings, applications, and other legal documents. Liaise directly with clients, providing updates, and managing expectations throughout the litigation process. Represent clients in hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and settlement discussions. Work closely with partners and senior associates on strategic case planning and issue resolution. Assist in business development activities, including client relationship management, presentations, and marketing efforts. Stay up to date with relevant case law and industry trends, applying insights to cases. Required Skills and Experience: A qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE in commercial litigation or dispute resolution. Solid experience handling a wide range of commercial disputes, including but not limited to breach of contract, partnership disputes, and professional negligence. A proven track record of managing complex cases with minimal supervision. Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills. The ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities. A proactive and client-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
