Well regarded litigation team in Ipswich is looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation lawyer of 3 or more years’ PQE. The team acts for a broad range of clients including multi-nationals, listed companies, entrepreneurs, SMEs, and high net worth individuals with an expanding international client base.
They have experience of conducting litigation in the High Court and the Court of Appeal and act for clients in arbitrations and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. They also have strong links with proven junior and leading counsel in leading London commercial chambers, and their opponents are typically major London and international law firms.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic market leading team dealing with high quality work. The reason the department is recruiting is due to growth. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of smaller matters, as well as assisting more senior members of the team on larger matters.
Experience of advising on complex commercial disputes, enforcement of restrictive covenants, and shareholder disputes would be welcomed. The successful applicant will have excellent technical skills, a high attention to detail, and will produce work/documentation of a consistently high standard. You will be commercially astute, with a strong client-focused approach, and an aptitude for business development, be that writing articles or attending networking events.
