You will work predominantly with the head of the contentious procurement practice together with the other commercial litigators specialising in public procurement disputes, as well as working with and supervising other, more junior, commercial disputes lawyers. You will be involved in all aspects of procurement disputes and contentious advisory work, for both procuring entities and suppliers. Additionally, you will also work with lawyers in the non-contentious Commercial team, in providing support and advice in relation to public procurement law.
Applicants will have a proven track record in high level procurement disputes work and have the ability to take responsibility for their own matters and clients, and to help in growing the practice, as well as being able to demonstrate your emerging experience and success in business development and bringing on junior lawyers. Whilst the main focus of the role is procurement disputes, we would welcome applications from candidates who are also able to support clients on general commercial litigation matters.
