Commercial Litigation Solicitor
to join our Dispute Resolution team. As a fee earner in this role, you will manage a broad and varied caseload of contentious matters, taking ownership of cases from initial instruction through to resolution. Your work will involve: Contract Disputes:
Advising and representing clients in breach of contract claims, including disputes over supply agreements, service contracts, and business terms. Shareholder & Partnership Disputes:
Handling conflicts arising from shareholder agreements, partnership dissolutions, and director misfeasance claims. Professional Negligence Claims:
Acting for claimants or defendants in cases against professionals such as solicitors, accountants, and surveyors. Insolvency Litigation:
Supporting insolvency practitioners, businesses, and creditors in contentious insolvency proceedings, including asset recovery and director liability claims. Debt Recovery:
Pursuing and defending high-value debt claims, including the drafting of statutory demands and enforcement proceedings. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR):
Advising on and participating in mediations, arbitrations, and other forms of ADR to resolve disputes without the need for court proceedings. Court Representation:
Preparing cases for trial, drafting pleadings, and instructing counsel for advocacy where necessary. You will also play a key role in developing and maintaining strong client relationships by providing commercially focused advice and ensuring a pragmatic, solutions-driven approach to resolving disputes. What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking a confident and proactive solicitor who: Has
4-6 years PQE
in commercial litigation or dispute resolution. Demonstrates strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage a variety of cases. Possesses excellent drafting skills, including the ability to draft correspondence, pleadings, and witness statements. Is commercially astute, with a focus on delivering practical and cost-effective solutions. Has exceptional client care skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate effectively with clients of all backgrounds. Works well independently and as part of a collaborative team.
