The main contractor is one of the leading engineering companies in the UK specialising in highways projects and currently turning over more than £600m per annum.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join a leading contractor on an extraordinary project. Responsibilities (but not limited to) fopr Commercial Manager: Maximise cash flow through timely preparation of valuations, submissions of invoice and receipt of payment Develop a strategy for concluding client negotiations Monitor resources and costs to ensure that projects meet and or exceed targets Produce accurate and timely CVR reports, forecasts and contributes toward the setting of financial targets Carry out early value engineering activities ensuring all associated costs of change are included within the evaluation Requirements for Commercial Manager: Quantity Surveying Degree-qualified or equivalent Experience working as a Commercial Manager or a Managing Quantity Surveyor on infrastructure projects. Experience on highways frameworks or projects will be advantageous. Ideally a member of RICS Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK The successful candidate will be rewarded with an outstanding working environment, competitive salary and a generous package including a car allowance and bonuses.
