Job Title: Commercial Manager Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum Location: Central London (Hybrid working available, minimum 1 day per week on-site) About Us: Our client is a well-established private healthcare provider, operating in the Harley Street area for over 20 years. Their commitment to excellence in patient care and business operations has made them a leader in the private healthcare sector. Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager with a strong finance background to join the team. This role offers a high level of autonomy and requires a strategic thinker who can drive business growth while optimising costs. Key Responsibilities: Manage financial operations, including reconciling invoices and bookkeeping using Xero. Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Verify and validate medical invoices raised by third-party providers. Liaise with insurance companies, managing authorisation codes, copayments, and explaining excess payments to patients. Conduct data analysis using Excel to inform business decisions. Use healthcare management systems such as Semble/Heydoc. Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and increase business growth. Collaborate with clinical and operational managers to optimise financial performance. Identify and pursue business development opportunities. Required Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in a finance role within a large company. Strong background in private healthcare sector finance. Extensive knowledge of insurance company operations in the private sector. Proficiency in Xero, Excel, and healthcare management systems (e.g., Semble/Heydoc). Experience in business development and strategic financial planning. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant finance or accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA). Experience working in a central London private hospital or healthcare setting.
