Job Description Turner & Townsend is strongly positioned across the Infrastructure sector, operating as delivery partner to many public sector, Transport and Utility clients, with exciting roles on some of the UK's most significant and impactful projects. As Turner & Townsend Pre-Contract Commercial Specialists we assist our clients successful project delivery with best practices and robust commercial knowledge across all aspects of procurement and construction contracting, such as: Business commercial strategy Procurement strategy (project contracting) Procurement management Contract documentation and preparation Tender analysis and negotiation Contract management (change, payment, risk) Commercial assurance and governance We are looking for people with motivation for excellence, passion for problem-solving, strong emotional intelligence and appropriate construction-related procurement experience. Our ideal candidate will: Articulate complex ideas and strategy, both orally and written Support critical business decision making alongside Client stakeholders and senior leadership Take ownership and deliver to challenging deadlines Balance conflicting priorities Manage stakeholders of all levels across multiple business units and third parties Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of themself and the wider Turner & Townsend mission and objectives Qualifications Qualifications Either MCIPS qualified (or working towards), or MRICS (or working towards), or MCIOB (or working towards) Degree qualified in related discipline

Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction Law, Contract/Commercial Law

Experience Utilities Contract Regulations (UCR2016) or equivalent (PCR2015 / DSPCR2011) NEC suite of contracts (NEC4 preferred) - Engineering and Construction Contract, Professional Services Contract, Framework Contract Purchase to Pay and Contract Management systems (e.g. SAP Ariba, Oracle, BRAVO, JAGGAER, CEMAR) Knowledge of procurement across a range of industries Stakeholder management experience Additional Information Turner & Townsend is an equal opportunity employer.
