About the role

We are currently looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic

Commercial Market Manager

to join our

UK Commercial Operations - Masonry

team based in Sheffield, UK.

In this role you'll develop and deliver a commercial strategy that places Leviat UK in a market leading position in this product group. You'll also drive organic growth, actively seek new business opportunities in related markets and make recommendations for new product applications.

Key tasks & responsibilities

In this role you'll:

Regain and maintain a market leading position in masonry offering in the UK market.

Develop strategy and leadership buy in to achieve this position.

Engage with key players in the market (engineers, clients, main contractors, sub contractors, fabricators and distributors).

Work with local sales team to identify and grow specific market segments.

Collect data to estimate market size/share.

Understand market trends and potential changes in competition offering.

Be aware of forthcoming legislation and building regulation changes applicable to each region.

Identify new business opportunities or product applications within territories.

Offer support and expert product knowledge to sales teams.

Work closely with Product Managers to provide new product launch support.

Experience & qualifications

To be successful in this role you'll need:

The ability to collaborate across functions and teams - other Leviat divisions.

To be a masonry product expert.

To understand construction processes in relevant projects and be able to identify their key stakeholders.

To be pragmatic, results driven, with the ability to challenge both the in-country sales organisation and global product marketing.

A positive attitude and open mindset, with ability to collaborate across a global organisation.

Experience of technical specification driven sales in building products would be an advantage.

A level of education or relevant qualification in a commercial and technical engineering discipline.

To be happy to travel within country and internationally as required by Leviat or CRH.
