Commercial Pricing Manager Contract: Commercial Location: London Hours of work: 40 Contract Type: Permanent We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Pricing Manager to lead the pricing of complex tenders and retentions, interpreting technical data and contracts, developing detailed costing/pricing models, completing client returns, risk and opportunity matrices and financial outputs to support highly competitive commercial bids.

Job Description As the Commercial Pricing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial success of our bids by leading the pricing of complex tenders and retentions. This involves interpreting technical data and contracts, developing detailed costing and pricing models, completing client returns, and crafting risk and opportunity matrices to support highly competitive commercial bids. You will also lead and support internal and external negotiations, presentations, and the governance process, ensuring that all pricing strategies align with our business objectives. Your expertise will contribute to the commercial oversight and pricing support necessary for driving profitable, sustainable, and long-term growth in ISS’s key sectors. This role requires regular interaction at both the Senior Leadership Team and board level, and you will frequently engage with clients to present and negotiate our commercial offerings. You will be a key contributor to the UK sales function, providing commercial pricing and bid strategy expertise across all bids, whether they are for low, medium, or high-value contracts in both the private and public sectors. Your focus will span Hard, Soft, and Total Facilities Management (TFM) opportunities, where you’ll offer critical commercial oversight and pricing support during the proposal preparation phase. In addition to supporting negotiations and contract implementation, you will assist in resolving any contractual issues that may arise during the operation of contracts. Your role is crucial in fostering a commercial culture that prioritizes what is right for both ISS and our clients, with a strong emphasis on people, partnership, and long-term value creation. This is a dynamic and influential position that demands both strategic insight and meticulous attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Retain and secure new business through commercially sound and competitive pricing Provide commercial oversight on key opportunities Seek new innovative commercial pricing solutions to develop winning submissions Ensure contracts are profitable in both the short and long term Act as a conduit into key specialist functions within the ISS UK and the Global business Assist in best practice being disseminated within the team Maintain awareness of the FM industry, legislation and the various contracts in use Contribute business improvement/efficiency ideas and initiatives Deliver wider commercial projects within the commercial function Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Degree Educated (or relevant experience) in a relevant discipline or with transferable qualities Accountancy or Surveying professional qualification Experience in facilities management (hard and soft), working in an operational commercial or sales function, in both public and private sectors Additional broad experience is desirable e.g. operations, legal, procurement, technical & soft services Risk and opportunities analysis experience Ability to present proposals, both internally and externally, in a professional manner and with a full understanding of the solution put forward Ability to produce sound financial models with strong analytical and modelling skills The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
