As a Commercial Product Manager - Cruise (Tour Operator), you are responsible for growing the volume and value of Iglu's Tailor Made cruise (package) business in key destinations. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the risk of potential liability of the product Iglu sells is managed and balances with the rewards. The role will work closely with cruise commercial managers and other departments to maximise opportunities across all of our cruise destinations. Through our award winning brands Iglu Cruise, Planet Cruise and Iglu Ski, we provide expert service and exceptional ski and cruise holidays to locations around the world. Key Responsibilities: Building competitive and compelling tailor made packages to meet customer demands, Ensuring the pricing of packages is optimised for both the market and retaining margin, Working with commercial and marketing colleagues to merchandise and market packages, Working with sales and commercial colleagues to minimise risk and liability as a tour operator, Manage day to day relationships with ancillary suppliers including flight, hotel, tours and transfers, Working with suppliers and colleagues to get the best prices and exclusive offers, Analysing performance of the products being sold including demand, conversion and margin, Ensuring commercial content of packages is up-to-date and clear to customers, Providing destination level insight to the wider commercial team to maximise opportunities, For more senior individuals, managing other members of the product management team, For more senior individuals, working on strategic projects to develop Iglu's TM capabilities. The Person: Self-motivated, enthusiastic and tenacious with a strong desire to succeed, People focused with an ability to work collaboratively within and across departments, Excellent attention to detail with excellent IT and system skills, Able to communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels using all media, Highly organised, able to multitask and work under pressure to achieve deadlines, Excellent ground & airline product knowledge with at least one destination area of expertise, Previous cruise line, ship and destination knowledge is preferable but not a requirement, Previous cruise commercial/account management experience is preferable but not a requirement Why work for Iglu?
