About the Role As a

Commercial Property Manager , you will play a vital role in assisting the Head of Urban with the management of the organisation’s varied and high-profile portfolio. This is a dynamic role where you will oversee day-to-day property operations, build strong tenant relationships, and contribute to strategic asset management initiatives. Key Responsibilities Property Management Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants and managing agents, responding promptly to queries. Oversee property maintenance, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and to a high standard. Conduct regular property inspections to monitor lease compliance and health & safety requirements. Manage planned maintenance schedules and ensure all statutory inspections are completed on time. Coordinate insurance claims and supervise contractors, ensuring adherence to safety standards. Liaise with the professional team on refurbishments and development projects. Sales, Lettings, Rent Reviews, and Lease Renewals Prepare properties for new lettings, coordinating with agents and ensuring excellent presentation. Conduct due diligence on new lettings and manage tenancy documentation with solicitors. Coordinate rent reviews and lease renewals. Meet with new tenants to provide a seamless handover experience. Asset Management Support the implementation of the portfolio’s investment strategy, including preparing properties for sale and potential acquisitions. Manage strategic property plans, including securing planning permissions where needed. Oversee refurbishments and developments, working closely with the professional team to deliver results. General Responsibilities Assist in preparing annual budgets and service charge budgets. Support the Head of Urban with reporting and ensure smooth communication of key updates. About You The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, a proactive mindset, and exceptional organisational skills. Skills and Experience: Newly qualified RICS (preferred but not essential) with a minimum of two years’ experience in commercial property management. A strong understanding of health and safety policies and risk assessments (IOSH or First Aid qualifications are a plus). Proficiency in property management systems (experience with QUBE is beneficial). Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with people at all levels.
