Property/Real estate Underwriter (Renewals/New business).

Basildon – 2-3 days in office Salary:
Negotiable We’re strengthening our team at Camberford Underwriting and looking for a Property/Real Estate Underwriter to join the team as we continue to grow. The day to day: Pro-actively managing renewals & new business quotes for a property/real estate book Underwriting residential and commercial property/real estate risks within guidelines Liaising with key stakeholders both internally and externally Ensuring all documentations and systems are kept up to date and provided to supporting brokers in a timely manner Actively engaging with brokers to ensure Camberford are their first port of call on new business enquiries Ensuring SLA’s are met and timely issuance of documentation What’s on offer: A negotiable basic salary + bonus and all the normal benefits (Pension, Holidays etc.) A management team that is passionate about looking after their team and developing them A working setup that suits you, if you’d prefer to be in an office brilliant, if not work from home Full funding for relevant professional qualifications and ongoing personal development Your experience: Ideally you’ll have 4-5 years’ experience successfully underwriting a mixed property portfolio with exposure to both commercial and residential real estate/property owners risks A varied skill set that includes strong communication (both written and verbal), negotiation, analytical and IT skills.
