Job Description
Are you an experienced Commercial Solicitor looking to take a step up? Do you want to be involved in the strategic decision making of a firm? If so, this role with a well-known Derby firm could be for you! Our client is a well-established regional firm that is currently going through a period of expansion and has an opening for a Commercial Solicitor looking to develop their career and handle a diverse caseload while also contributing to the strategic direction of the department. This is a great opportunity to handle a high-quality caseload without the pressures associated with a much larger firm. You will be both drafting and advising on a range of commercial contract and data protection matters for the firm's diverse client base, from SMEs to PLCs and large international corporates. As a more senior team member, you will also be providing guidance to junior team members. Alongside fee earning responsibilities, you will work closely with the head of department on the strategic direction of the team, as well as being heavily involved in the marketing efforts of both the department and the firm. Our client is ideally looking for a commercial solicitor with 3+ years' PQE. This is, however, given purely as a guideline, so if you fall closely outside of this bracket, you are still encouraged to apply.
