Commercial Technical Manager – Hazardous Waste Technical Assessor Team
Salary:
£55,000 – 60,000, Car or Allowance, Bonus and Benefits
LOCATION:
Hybrid, commutable to Birmingham IMPORTANT:
YOU MUST HAVE WORKED IN THE UK HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT SECTOR TO BE CONSIDERED. Just having exposure to hazardous waste in another sector will not be considered. Suitable roles may include: Technical Manager, Hazardous Waste Technical Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Senior Technical Assessor, Commercial Manager, Technical Director. ROLE:
As the Commercial Technical Manager, you will: Lead a team of Technical Assessors assessing incoming waste material and quoting for removal. Provide advanced technical support to the team and other teams as required. Produce required reports. Manage non-conformances. Oversee training and development of the team. Identify opportunities for improvement. Liaise with external stakeholders such as the Environment Agency. EXPERIENCE:
You MUST have held a Technical or Technical Commercial role in the Hazardous Waste Sector and be able to provide advanced technical assistance. Suitable roles may include: Technical Manager, Hazardous Waste Technical Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Senior Technical Assessor, Commercial Manager, Technical Director. You should possess a good standard of verbal and written communication skills and be competent in Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience of directly interfacing with clients is desirable. YOU WILL HAVE: A degree in Chemistry or higher. A UK Driving Licence. DGSA, WM3 / Classification of Waste, WAMITAB COTC, IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications. VAC REF NO.:
