About the Company: A market leading, specialist Insurance Company is looking to recruit a dynamic and ambitious Commercial Underwriter to join their team. The role will focus on two core markets: sport and leisure, and alcohol (think distilleries and breweries). Responsible For The Following: Underwriting and placement of risks across the following markets: sports and leisure commercial combined and alcohol commercial combined. Managing SLAs. Supporting, growing, and nurturing broker relationships. Accountable for renewal and new business. Accountable for management and maintenance of rating guides. Managing the performance of Underwriting Assistant/s. Experience and Attributes Required: Commercial combined (property and casualty) experience required, either from an underwriting or broking background. An interest in working in a specialist area (sport and leisure or alcohol). You must take pride in the quality of your work and the development of your broker relationships. Strong communication and IT skills. Salary/Benefits Information: Up to £45,000 + Exceptional Bonus + Benefits Package Over 30 days holiday. Significant bonus opportunity.
