The client’s workshop at Oakleigh Depot maintains a large fleet of service vehicles and plant used for front line services such as recycling and waste collections, street cleansing, ground maintenance tasks, and passenger services.
Fleet Technician Duties
Assist in the delivery of an efficient and effective Transport Workshop service. Ensure the fleet is maintained in a legal and roadworthy condition.
Fleet Technician Requirements
Applicants are required to have City and Guilds and IMI qualifications. Experience of maintaining commercial LGV and plant is essential. Experience of maintaining Mercedes and Dennis vehicles and buses is preferable. Up-to-date MOT test qualification and the ability to drive a class 2 vehicle is preferred.
