Commissioning Engineer
Commissioning Engineer focuses on commission and start up automated warehouse systems on-site, including robots, shuttles, elevators, and conveyor systems.
What the role involves
- Commission and start up automated warehouse systems on-site, including robots, shuttles, elevators, and conveyor systems.
- Test, and validate PLC software (e.g. Beckhoff) and perform live system testing.
- Monitoring system performance and functionality during start-up and commissioning phases.
- Resolve technical issues or irregularities on-site.
- Provide first-line and second-line technical support to customers and integrators (on-site, remote, and by phone).
- Provide training where required.
Skills and requirements
- Technical degree in engineering, automation, mechatronics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in commissioning, industrial automation, intralogistics, or a similar technical environment (recent graduates also considered).
- Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and work flexible on-site schedules.
- Ability to perform basic repairs and on-site technical adjustments.
