Commissioning Engineer
Commissioning Engineer focuses on supporting the commissioning and testing of synchronous condenser equipment and associated systems.
What the role involves
- Supporting the commissioning and testing of synchronous condenser equipment and associated systems.
- Carry out pre-commissioning, functional testing, system checks and energisation activities.
- Work closely with site management, engineering, construction and client teams to ensure safe and efficient commissioning delivery.
- Test packs, permits, method statements and technical documentation.
- Resolve technical issues during commissioning and start-up activities.
- Ensure all commissioning works are completed in line with project specifications, safety standards and quality requirements.
Skills and requirements
- Previous experience as a Commissioning Engineer on energy, power generation, substation, HV, grid or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of commissioning processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics and commissioning procedures.
- Experience working on live construction or energisation environments.
