HQ in Widnes, Global travel required. About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Commissioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of advanced industrial machinery to ensure they meet design specifications and operational requirements. Key Responsibilities:
Plan, manage, and execute the commissioning of various industrial machinery. Perform tests and inspections to ensure systems meet design specifications and operational efficacy. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and system malfunctions. Ensure all safety, quality, and operational procedures are followed during the commissioning phase. Provide training and support to maintenance and operational teams on new systems. Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to outline project scope and timelines. Record, analyze, and interpret test data, identifying and documenting any deviations from planned outcomes. Travel globally up to 50% of the time to various project sites. Qualifications:
HNC (Higher National Certificate) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. Proven experience in commissioning, installation, and testing of industrial systems. Strong experience with PLCs, particularly Siemens TIA Portal. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
