Full-Time Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commissioning Manager to oversee the successful opening and operation of a new 50-bed nursing home. The Commissioning Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the commissioning process, including regulatory compliance, staffing, facility setup, and ensuring the highest standards of care and service are delivered from day one. Key Responsibilities: Project Management:

Lead the commissioning project from planning to execution, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Develop and implement a detailed commissioning plan, including tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure the facility is equipped and furnished to high standards.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure the nursing home meets all local, state, and federal regulations and standards. Prepare and submit necessary documentation for licensing and certification. Liaise with regulatory bodies and inspectors to facilitate approvals and inspections.

Staffing and Training:

Recruit, hire, and onboard qualified staff, including nurses, caregivers, administrative, and support personnel. Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to ensure all staff are proficient and knowledgeable. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.

Operational Readiness:

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Oversee the procurement of medical equipment, supplies, and services. Ensure the facility is fully operational, safe, and welcoming for residents and their families.

Quality and Care Standards:

Establish and maintain high standards of care, ensuring residents receive compassionate and professional nursing care. Implement quality assurance programs to continually assess and improve service delivery. Address and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.

Financial Management:

Develop and manage the commissioning budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial sustainability. Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Community and Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and the local community. Promote the nursing home through community outreach and marketing initiatives. Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders during the commissioning phase.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience in commissioning and managing healthcare facilities, preferably nursing homes. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the healthcare sector. Exceptional project management and organizational skills. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
