Commodity Manager – Raw Materials/Castings/Forgings/Hardware As the Commodity Manager – Raw Materials/Castings/Forgings/Hardware, you are responsible for working across the divisions, collaborating with our existing supply chain organizations, to secure commodities in a timely, value-added manner, assuring quality, delivery and cost in accordance with company requirements. This commodity group will include but not be limited to raw materials/castings/forgings and hardware such as fasteners, bearings, and sealing products. Location:

Lead cost reduction efforts concentrating on Value Improvements and Total Cost of Ownership. Support the negotiation of contracts with favorable impact on quality, continuity of supply, purchase price and commercial terms. Strive for supplier consolidation, thereby increasing leverage/partnership structures with key suppliers. Provide sourcing support in new design/new product concept stage of large contracts. Assist with supplier risk management. Key contributor to the escalation process for major quality and performance issues. Locate and develop suppliers domestically, intercompany and in low-cost regions; engage suppliers in projects to improve quality, delivery, pricing and terms. Drive continuous improvement, best practices, standardized KPIs, and administration of major RFP’s, auctions, and web purchases. What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration or equivalent. 5 years experience in procurement, supply chain management. Deep understanding of the raw materials and hardware markets. Ability to build and maintain relationships across departments and with external suppliers. Understands cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting. Proficiency in Power BI and Excel is an asset. Ability to analyze market trends, pricing data, and supplier performance.
