Javelin Commodities . The Role
The Operations team at Javelin manages the reconciliation, confirmation, and settlement of commodity products. Working with the Logistics team and traders, Operations ensure that risk is captured accurately, and the full lifecycle of the trade is supported effectively. As the business continues to expand, we are looking for a motivated individual to join the Documentation group within our Operations team. This dynamic role will complement the responsibilities of other team members and work as part of the team to achieve the Operations Group's objectives. Key Responsibilities Include:
T+1 Trade checkouts Drafting and reviewing physical and financial contracts for various commodities Liaising with Trading/Logistics team to resolve queries and discrepancies Maintenance of Confirm reporting database Reconciling OTC and Exchange Traded positions Documenting processes and procedures Project Management Requirements
Self-motivated, proactive candidate with previous experience in a Commodity Operations role. Strong work ethic to help drive the team forward and push for technology-based solutions. Demonstrable organizational skills. Clear communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage and prioritize workload and judge priority and urgency of requests and issues.
