The Role
The Operations team at Javelin manages the reconciliation, confirmation, and settlement of commodity products. Collaborating with the Logistics team and traders, Operations ensures accurate risk capture and effective support throughout the trade lifecycle.
As the business expands, we seek a motivated individual to join the Documentation group within our Operations team. This dynamic role will complement the responsibilities of other team members and contribute to achieving the Operations Group's objectives.
Key Responsibilities Include:
T+1 Trade checkouts Drafting and reviewing physical and financial contracts for various commodities Liaising with the Trading/Logistics team to resolve queries and discrepancies Maintenance of Confirm reporting database Reconciling OTC and Exchange Traded positions Documenting processes and procedures Project Management Requirements
Self-motivated, proactive candidate with previous experience in a Commodity Operations role preferred. Strong work ethic to drive the team forward and pursue technology-based solutions Demonstrable organizational skills Clear communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to manage and prioritize workload, assessing the priority and urgency of requests and issues Excellent attention to detail Benefits
