We are seeking a motivated Communications Intern to contribute to our mission of advancing higher education in London. This part-time role is for 14 hours a week, and can be worked flexibly across the working week. As a vital member of our team, the successful candidate will work with our Head of Communications to produce content for our communications channels. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for communication, have a creative flair, and a proactive attitude. This developmental role is suited to someone who is studying or has completed a marketing/communications-focused degree and/or is looking for practical experience in a marketing/communications team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of communications within the context of higher education. On-the-job training and mentoring will be provided to support professional development throughout the internship period. Main responsibilities: Content creation and distribution:

in conjunction with the Head of Communications, write and produce compelling content which can be shared through various channels. Design and branding:

utilise Canva to design social media assets, report covers, and event invitations. Social media management:

Develop, maintain, and monitor our London Higher and Study London social media channels, including X/Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Website management:

upload posts to the website and edit pages as needed to ensure the continuous flow of up-to-date information. Campaigns:

opportunity to work on the Study London campaign and #StudyNursingLondon campaign, inputting ideas and generating content for various channels. About you: If you feel your skills and experience match the below, we would love to hear from you: Eager to develop new skills and learn about the higher education sector in England and, specifically, in London. Excellent written communication skills with the ability to draft text for newsletters and social media quickly. Confident with using social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X) and Microsoft Office packages and the ability to learn new IT systems quickly. Enjoy multi-tasking and be willing to learn how to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-changing environment.
