Job Description

Are you a Communications Account Director or PR Account Director (or Senior PR Account Manager) with a huge passion for helping businesses and brands in the B2B or Built Environment sector? If you have great experience in communications, PR and consultancy and love working in the B2B or built environment sector, this could be a great role for you. Our client is open to both in-house and agency backgrounds; if coming from in-house, you will need built environment sector experience. This is a full-time, permanent role with a flexible salary depending on your experience between £45k and £50k (please reach out if you are up to £55k mark). If you have a passion for communications, public affairs, PR and brand this could be an exceptional long-term opportunity. This role will be focused on B2B sectors and the built environment. The Client Our client is an award-winning communications agency with several offices, and this role is based in Cheltenham. This team has an impressive portfolio of clients supporting them with change, reputation management and growth across a range of sectors. If you have experience in corporate comms and working within the built environment, then you will find this role incredibly exciting. Not only will you be joining the central hub, but you will also be working collaboratively with the other teams allowing a culture of sharing and collaboration. The Role As Comms Account Director, you will work at a senior level, taking ownership of campaign objectives and overseeing delivery excellence. You will drive accounts forward by identifying and seizing opportunities. You will also play a pivotal part in managing teams, growing client relationships, and contributing to the agency's strategic success. You will have experience in and a passion for B2B comms and a particular interest in the built sector, working with some big names to help them achieve their comms goals. You will be strategic and love growth, whether that is client account growth or people and team growth, you will love to help develop the team and identify training opportunities. As part of your strategic mindset, you will also enjoy reporting on key metrics and making suggestions for improvements. About You To be the successful candidate for the role you will have the following experience: Strong experience in developing strategies across comms (ideally with agency experience but if you are coming from an in-house background it will be relevant to the built sector) Proven experience in working on a range of B2B or built environment projects Experience in being client-facing, developing strategies and comms plans and managing the delivery Experience in managing, leading and mentoring a small team with a passion for developing people, supporting people and with a nurturing approach Identifying growth opportunities for an agency Monitoring and analysing industry trends, looking at what is relevant to the agency and the clients of the agency and being able to problem solve and make recommendations Build and maintain a range of industry contacts and love to develop these A passion for improving policies and driving positive change A proactive approach and brilliant communication skills This client is offering a fab working environment including 3 days in the office and 2 from home, competitive salary depending on experience and great scope for career progression.
