N1098 Community Connections Senior Advisor - Role Profile *Current Plymouth City Council apprentices wishing to apply for this role must contact the recruiting manager to ensure that they are able to support them to satisfactorily complete their NVQ qualification. Apprentices must also have 6 months continuous service and satisfactorily completed their probationary period before applying. A permanent opportunity has arisen in the Community Connections Service. Our ethos is to put the customer at the centre of service delivery, creating a relationship to encourage and support with ours and other services. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for making a difference. As Senior Advisor, you will be supporting with the management and maintenance of the Devon Home Choice Social Housing register ensuring applications are assessed and reviewed and that applicants are given a caring, efficient and responsive service. You will also be supporting the delivery of the front-line homelessness service and working closely with colleagues across the Housing Solutions Service. The Senior Advisor role contributes to the continuous improvement of the Housing Needs Service by promoting good practice, developing innovative ways of preventing homelessness and meeting housing need through partnership working with a range of stakeholders, ensuring that statutory requirements are met and best practice achieved. You must be happy to work independently and flexibly, and you will be required to work in an office environment and from various locations in the City.
