Middlesbrough Neighbourhoods are seeking to recruit two experienced Community Development and Cohesion workers to support the delivery of a range of activities and initiatives throughout Middlesbrough.
This position will play an integral role in working across Middlesbrough, encouraging and supporting residents to become more resilient, developing a better understanding of each other by promoting shared social and cultural values, and delivering key outcomes related to community cohesion and resilience.
The successful candidates will work alongside statutory, voluntary, and community partners. It’s about helping communities genuinely come together, promoting, and constructing a vision of British values large enough for everyone to fit in.
Being a Community Development and Cohesion Worker can be extremely rewarding. If you have experience of working with people and groups using community engagement skills, have worked with a range of partner agencies, and possess knowledge of Resilience and Cohesion, then this could be the opportunity for you!
Working Pattern:
